Last season the Ravens defeated on Thanksgiving Night 22-20 to keep their playoff hopes alive. This matchup is a little different from the years past built around a new cast of stars as players like Ray Lewis, Ed Reed and James Harrison are all gone.
Here are the rest of top week 2 NFL games to watch.
New England Patriots @ Minnesota Vikings: The New England Patriots head to Minnesota to take on the Vikings in a game they must win to avoid starting the season with two straight losses. The Vikings on the other hand picked up an impressive week 1 win and enter this matchup with a chance to win. The Patriots struggled to slow down the Miami Dolphins rushing attack which opens up the door for Adrian Peterson.
Atlanta Falcons @ Cincinnati Bengals: In Cincinnati the Bengals will look to start the season 2-0 as the Atlanta Falcons come to town. This matchup has the making to be a high scoring contest built around some of the NFL’s top wide receivers. The Bengals used a deep touchdown pass to A.J. Green to beat the Baltimore Ravens while the Atlanta Falcons used an overtime field goal to beat the New Orleans Saints.
Kansas City Chiefs @ Denver Broncos: The battle out west has the Kansas City Chiefs heading to Denver to take on the Broncos in an AFC West showdown. The Broncos jumped out early against the Indianapolis Colts behind three first half touchdowns from Peyton Manning. The Chiefs on the other hand didn’t come out ready to play losing to the Tennessee Titans. If the Chiefs want to remain alive in the division this is a key game for Andy Reid and company.
Philadelphia Eagles @ Indianapolis Colts: Week 2 wraps up as Andrew Luck looks to lead his Indianapolis Colts over the high flying Philadelphia Eagles. This has the chance to be another high scoring contest as both Nick Foles and Luck threw for over 300 yards with 2 touchdowns in week 1.
