The Bulldogs got off to a great start of the season by defeating the 16th ranked Clemson Tigers 45-21. The Bulldogs were led by running back Todd Gurley who finished the day with 15 carries for 198 yards and three touchdowns. The Bulldogs defense also came out to play limiting the Tigers total offense to less than three hundred yards.
Since 2010 the Gamecocks are 4-1 against the Bulldogs including two wins at home. The last time the Bulldogs went into South Carolina and won was back in 2008. This is just one a few good NCAA games taking place this weekend. Here is the rest of the college football games to watch.
Tennessee Volunteers @ #4 Oklahoma Sooners: This might be the other top game fans will be paying attention to as the Sooners head coach Bob Stoops has been very vocal in his thoughts about the SEC being the top conference in the NCAA. This will be the first real test for both teams as they both enter with two wins to start the season.
#12 UCLA Bruins VS Texas Longhorns @ AT&T Stadiu in Arlington: The Bruins look to move to 3-0 on the season led by junior quarterback Brett Hundley. Hundley is coming off a 396 yard performance and three touchdowns in the Bruins 42-35 win over Memphis. The Bruins quarterback has his name in contentions for the Heisman as well as a potential first round draft pick.
Wyoming Cowboys @ #2 Oregon Ducks: This game could get out of hand early but any time you get a chance to see Marcus Mariota play you have to tune in. Mariota returned to the Ducks this year after having an opportunity to be one of the first quarterbacks taken in the 2014 NFL draft. This return is fueled for his passion to lead the Ducks to the National Championship.
